Defying Normality

Hood was feeling restless. He wanted to do something. It came from the dog sie of him that at times he just could not sit still. He stood up and ran from one side of the graveyard to the other.

Xcelia watched silently, eyes blank.

Hood continued in this fashion again and again wishing he hadn't lost all his previous staminer after moving down here.

Xcelia sighed. "We can't live in a graveyard." She mumbled.

Hood stopped when he heard Xcelia say something. He went over and sat down deside her. "Whats up?"

Xcelia sighed. "We cant live here."

Hood looked down, he'd been puting this off for ages. "Where else is there?" He asked.

Xcelia shrugged. "A apartment in the city centre?" She suggested.

Hood laughed "And we afford that how?"

Xcelia sighed and shrugged. "I could get a job." She suggested.

Hood thought for a second. "Okay."

Xcelia frowned. "Theres a vampire hotel called the meagan, but I dont know if you'd be welcome."

Hood shrugged. "we could try." he said simply trying not to think out being shut in to a building all the time.

Xcelia looked up at him and opened his mouth gently, trying to see if he had fangs.

Hood laughed. "wa arg oo okin vor?" he attempted to ask.

"Fangs." Xcelia closed his mouth. "You wont be able to pass for a vampire."

"Can't say I have those." Hood massarged his jaw.

Xcelia nodded. "That means I'll have to get a job."

Hood took a deep breath, "So we're going to do ths."

Xcelia shrugged. "We cant live here."

"I know." said Hood. looking round the area he had come to think of as home.

Xcelia kissed his cheek. "Come on." She began walking towards the crypt.

Hood heaved himself off the ground and followed on behind her.

Xcelia smiled at him. "It wont be so bad living in the city."

"It'll be different.I've never really even lived in a village." said Hood supprised as he realised just how true that was.
