Demyx landed gently on the ground and glanced at Cyzarine. "What's wrong?" He asked. She'd been quite since the confrentation with Ryland in the Meagen.

Cyzarine shook her head. "It's nothing. C'mon." she murmured, walking towards the front door and knocking.

Demyx frowned and took her by the elbow. "Tell me what's wrong Cyzie."

Cyzarine shook her head. "It's nothing. Really." she looked away. "I just wish you hadn't done that."

Demyx frowned. "Done what?" He took a step closer to her. "What have I done?"

Cyzarine still didn't look at him. "Gone to the Meagan." she murmured. "You were walking on thin ice - still are." she sighed and shook her head again. "I don't understand why you went."

Demyx stood in front of her. "Please Cyzie...Look at me." He whispered.

Cyzarine glanced up at him before averting her eyes again.

Demyx frowned. "If its about those...wispy things that came outta no where in the Meagen then I'm sorry, I just wanted you to leave so you'd be safe!"

"Kinda like what I wanted you to do." Cyzarine mumbled, looking at the floor.

Demyx shook his head. "I went there to see who were up against, maybe scare him if I could...I think I managed to freak him out a little."

Cyzarine shook her head and looked up at Demyx at last. "We haven't gained anything from that. The only plus is that we now know what your avian power is." she looked away again. "Can we just drop it now?"

Demyx shrugged. "I think we gained something from it."

Cyzarine nodded but didn't speak.

Demyx looked at her and sighed. "What have I done?" He slammed his fist against the wall. "Just tell me that godamn much!"

Cyzarine jumped and moved to take his hand from the wall. "You..." tears welled up in Cyzarine's eyes. "You remind me of Garland." she whispered, hoping Demyx wouldn't hear her.

Demyx blinked. "I- I what?" His voice was barely above a whisper.

Cyzarine closed her eyes and let a couple of tears fall. "It...I..." she sighed. "He wasn't always mean to me. He started off nice, polite - a bit obnoxious but I figured that came from having a huge mansion and lots of money." she shook her head. "Then he started getting angry a lot, asking me to do things I didn't want to and pushing it too far." she rubbed at her eyes. "The next thing I knew he was, well, the Garland I know now."

Demyx stared at her for a moment. "W..What makes you think I'm going to be like that?..That i am like that?"

Cyzarine shook her head, unable to look at him again. "I don't think that. I don't think that at all." she sighed and looked up at him again with sad eyes. "I don't think you're going to be like him. You're too nice. I just..." she shook her head again. "Forget it. Forget I said anything."

Demyx shook his head and gently grabbed her arm. "Tell me Cyzie, please."

Cyzarine moved back to face him and bit her lip. "I never should have said anything." she whispered. "You wanted an answer and I said the first thing I thought because that's what Garland always wanted me to. Even if it was something I wouldn't have normally said, he didn't care because he'd scared me into saying anything." Another tear rolled down her cheek. "I'm so sorry..."

Demyx sighed in irritation and shook his head, walking away from her. "Don't compare me to Garland and then expect me to kiss all your tears away."

Cyzarine nodded sadly and moved into the house as the door was opened for her. "I'm sorry." she repeated, her voice barely a whisper. She opened her wings and flew off towards the bedroom, aiming to check up on the egg.

Demyx sighed and slumped down at the base of the stairs, staring aimlessly at the wall.
