Tom jumped off the bus, keeping a tight hold of his backpack. "It's good to be back." he mumbled to himself, chanigng the song on his iPod. "Now... a place to stay..."

Dade had got bored of watching the girls and wandered out on to the street, he leant against a bus taking out his moblie and picking up a free net connection. He had a look at the banks site to see if they had reacted yet.

Where is everyone? Chicago seemed almost deserted. Tom pushed his hair out of his eyes and turned the corner, hands in his pockets.

Sisky walked purposefully, acting like it wasn't unusual that she had a squirrel on her shoulder. She got some strange looks but not as many as she was expecting under the circumstances.

Tom scuffed at the ground, sunglasses falling off. He bent down to pick them up.

Sisky turned a corner and noticed a man picking up his sunglasses. Unfortunately the squirrel noticed too and decided to check out the mysterious object on the ground for itself.

Tom squeaked, carefully wresting his glasses from the small creature. "Hey little guy." He put them in his pocket. "Are you tame? I haven't seen one of you do that before..."

"I'm sorry. He's still kind of wild," Sisky bent to pick the squirrel back up and it scurried up Tom's pantsleg.

Tom sat down on the ground, tightening his hands around his knee so the squirrell couldn't go any further. "I'm surprised he managed to squeeze his way up there."

Sisky chuckled as the squirrell came back, looking a little squished. She reached down so it could crawl into her arm, and glanced at the man with the sunglasses to apologize. "Tom!" She squeaked in surprise instead.

Tom raised an eyebrow, still looking at her with narrowed eyes. "But... you do look familiar. So I might have just forgotten?"

"I've changed." Sisky looked down shyly. "A lot."

"Uhh... right." Tom checked his watch. He needed to find a place to stay before it got dark.

Sisky decided not to leave her identity up in the air anymore. If Tom decided to leave because he hated her it would be fine. She sighed, "Tom, it's me. I'm Adam Siska."

Tom blinked. He rubbed his eyes. "You... You have breasts."

"I don't really want to be a girl," Sisky admitted. "I'm changing back after I have my baby." She stopped abruptly when she realized how ridiculous she sounded.

Tom stopped. He twisted his mouth thoughtfully, wondering if he dared ask.

"Where are you going?" Sisky asked nervously, wondering if she should pretend it never happened as the mostly wild squirrel climbed onto her head.

"Look." Tom said quietly. "This might sound odd, but do Mikey Russell - as in the ex singer of 504 - or Nick Scimeca have anything to do with this?" He was almost sure he was right.

"Not exactly. I've always been this way," Sisky realized what Tom might be trying to ask. "Mikey's an avian. I'm a..." Great. Fairy? What's he gonna say to that?
