Part of a Contract, or part of something more?

Aliceabella paled. "Damn, I thought Damian was lying when he said I talked in my sleep!" She burried her head in the pillow.

Ryland chuckled and patted her arm before moving away to sit in a chair. "So your name is really Alison...?"

Aliceabella sat up. "Yeah." She cringed. "Never liked it though, I changed it when I ran away from Damian in hopes he wouldnt be able to track me as easily." She shrugged. "Didn't work."

"Maybe you shouldn't have picked a name that sounded similar," Ryland chuckled.

Aliceabella shrugged. "I like the name." She mumbled. "Besides, No other names seemed to really suit me."

"And what suits you?" Ryland watched amused.

Aliceabella frowned. "Dresses?" She shrugged. "I dont know, but a better question: What suits you?" She smiled and leant back on her hands.

"And why would you want to know that?" Ryland raised an eyebrow.

Aliceabella shrugged. "You asked me, isnt it fair I ask it in return?"

"Nothing you'd like, little girl," he patted her on the head.

Aliceabella bit his hand playfully. "Try me." She mumbled, biting his finger.

Ryland raised his eyebrow, "Causing pain."

Aliceabella bit his finger a little harder. "Keep going." She mumbled, trying to talk properly with a finger in her mouth.

"Crushing dreams," Ryland didn't remove his finger.

Aliceabella spat his finger out of her mouth. "That finger tastes funny." She mumbled.

Ryland looked at the finger and shrugged, patting Aliceabella's head again condescendingly.

Aliceabella frowned. "Why are you patting my head?" She asked, staring up at his hand. "I know my hair is wonderful, but please try and contain yourself." She smiled softly.

Ryland grabbed a handful, shaking it gently before letting go. He chuckled.

Aliceabella pouted. "Bully." She stuck her tongue out at him childishly.

"Exactly," Ryland smirked.

Aliceabella laughed lightly and patted his head. "You pat my head, I pat your head." She stated, nodding.

Wren stormed along the corridor, wincing with every other step. One of her heels had snapped off, and boy was she pissed. And the moral of the story is: never hit a girl on her period.

Aliceabella yawned a little, changing from patting Ryland's head to tracing patterns on his arm.

Wren stopped at Ryland's door, knocking firmly. He had better be there...

Aliceabella glanced up, tugging the shirt down as far as it would go before moving to open the door. "Who is it?" She asked quietly, hands keeping the t-shirt down to a reasonable level.
