Aliceabella blinked. "I have two arms..." She mumbled. "What's wrong with you?"

Brad walked closer a little hesitantly as if he wasn't sure he was moving and pulled up his sleeve to reveal needlemarks in his arms. "They're coming again in five hundred drips."

Aliceabella's eyes widened. "I-is that what there going to do to me?" She asked, tears threatening.

"They didn't do that to the guy who was here before you," Brad looked at the empty cage.

Aliceabella bit her lip, tucking herself into a smaller ball. "How quickly does 500 drips go?" She whispered, staring at the liquid as it fell.

"As quickly as 500 drops takes," Brad had no idea since he didn't have another way of telling time.

Aliceabella bit her lip. "They go pretty fast." She whispered.

Brad looked up, "Then it must be feeding time." He walked under the path of the drips and held his mouth open to catch them, showing that he had a vampire's fangs.

Aliceabella took a deep breath in an attempt to calm herself and moved across the room, squeezing down in the small space between the cage and the wall.

"Hey you'll be out of here in no time," Brad said while waiting for another drop.

Aliceabella bit her lip. "How do you know for sure?" She whispered.

"I helped the other guy escape. You can get out too no problem," Brad almost missed his drop.

Aliceabella nodded slowly. "What's your name?" She asked, not moving from her postion behind the cage.

Brad had to think a moment and another drop hit him in the face. "Brad." It was a sign that he was becoming resistant to the drugs he was given.

"The light..." Brad stepped away as the drops slowed.

"It hurts now. I'd be blinded," Brad returned to his corner and mumbled. "... changing the schedule... drops shouldn't have been that fast..."

Aliceabella bent down beside him. "If you close your eyes I could lead you to a room with subdued lighting." She bit her lip, trying to think. "Sunglasses maybe?"
