Aliceabella stared from the door to Brad, frown on her face. "What do we do now?" She whispered.

"You're not supposed to be in here," Brad whispered to Aliceabella, suddenly struck with an idea. "Hide against the wall near the door and when the vampire comes into the room to inject me, you run away. Don't worry about me."

Larry grumbled to himself. "Give me your arm then." He pulled the injection out his pocket. "God, this place is disgusting."

Aliceabella looked at him sadly. "I don't want to leave you, it's not fair." She shrunk back against the wall all the same.

Brad obediently held out his arm, looking at the usual injection site curiously to see if it was injected. He waited for Aliceabella to make a run for it before it was too late.

Aliceabella stared at Brad sadly before slipping out the door and racing back towards the room so she could get her stuff.

Larry swore. "He's going to kill me." He struck the injured vampire across the face. "That's for betraying your species. Twice."
