Like those things with petals

Ryland trudged closer to the Meagan, still holding Caitlyn. She decided to try hitting him again.

"You're more trouble than you're worth," Ryland informed Caitlyn as he walked into the building.

Caitlyn sniffled at Ryland's harsh words and sank into the image that Matt sent to her. She rubbed at her eyes as he headed straight for the scientific wing of the building.

"This is where your Daddy is supposed to be," Ryland informed Caitlyn as she stopped attacking him for a moment to look around curiously.

"Dadee?" Caitlyn looked around, expecting to see her mother. "Dadee?" Ryland ignored her, other things on his mind.

Ryland chuckled as they reached their destination and explained to another vampire what he needed to be done. Caitlyn looked at Matt and reached her arms out for him as her eyes started to fill with tears. "Dadee?"

Caitlyn put her arms down and decided to take her anger out on Ryland again, punching him as hard as she could as she wailed.

The vampires getting ready to do the procedure put their latex gloves on and commented about how it had been awhile since they'd seen him as if he wasn't in the room.

"Ma!" Caitlyn wailed and bit Ryland as hard as she could. He swore under his breath and shifted her in his arms, "Just watch."

One of the scientists raised his eyebrow and nudged another and they both looked into his eyes for a moment to see if there was something new there as they set up the equipment.

"Noze?" Caitlyn asked Ryland sulkily. He raised an eyebrow, "Ryland." "Rylaan," she hissed angrily.

Without asking Matt anything, the scientists discussed Caitlyn amongst themselves and decided they would have to make sure it wasn't possible for him to reproduce.

"RYLAAN," Caitlyn growled and bit him again, trying to make him let go of her. He was starting to consider cutting her tongue out like he had done to Matt.

"Ma," Caitlyn squeaked at him, "Rylaan grrrr."

They got started without warning Matt first or worrying about anesthesia as they reached to remove his pants.

Caitlyn squeaked again and covered her eyes with her hands.

They were precise way but not very gentle or careful as they went about collecting samples. "Do you think he takes after Beckett."

"Ma?" Caitlyn kept her eyes covered and Ryland raised his eyebrows at her.
