William frowned. "Fine then, I'll tell you what I want. I want you to leave everyone alone. Don't go near Mikey, Butcher, Mike, or anyone else."

Matt took in his surroundings, breathing slightly harder. He inclined his head respectfully at Ryland, moving to pick up his jacket.

William kept his eyes ont eh other vampire, not sure if Ryland had done anything to convince the Matt that he was wrong. His breathing was a little unsteady as he watched.

Matt's eyes jerked towards William, fear brewing just below the surface. He did something to me. He changed me.

William continued looking into Matt's eyes. He looked as if he wanted to say something to the other vampire, but he couldn't say it in front of Ryland.

Matt inclined his head to William and walked back out the room. He hugged his jacket to him.

The younger vampire supressed a shudder. He turned to look at the older man, inclining his head again.
