William remained dead silent as they approached the Meagan. He held onto Mike's arm, his bottom lip clenched between his teeth.

Mike quickly kissed William's cheek before knocking at the door. "I love you," he whispered again; it was a continuous stress, thinking that either of them might not be there the next minute.

Ryland sighed again when he felt William drawing nearer. What do you want?

"I love you.." William's last word was cut off as the door swung open, revealing the same two henchmen as last time. William's eyes widened as one of them men grabbed him by the shoulders, teh other grabbing Mike.

"Warm welcome," Mike muttered. He recognized the corridor, at the other end of the hallway, he and Ryland had taken to the room filled with humans to be used as food or test subjects. He shuddered. "We're here to see Blackinton."

Ryland stood and exited his room. I've had enough for one day.

William remained silent, the only trace that he was paying attention was the smirk on his face as he swiftly moved his knee into the stronger vampire's crotch, causing him to let go of the singer's shoulders.

Mike grinned, and dove his elbow straight into the other vampire's stomach. He grasped William wrist and ran for the stairs before anyone could react.

Ryland turned a corner, rolling his eyes and breaking into a run when he saw the fight. "Stop! What do you want Carden?"

William's smirk faded as he saw Ryland. "We want you to tell us what you meant earlier," he said solemnly.

"You should address William first," Mike told Ryland, glaring furiously. "He deserves your respect. Now be kind enough to elaborate and answer everything my boyfriend asks."

"He deserves my respect?" Ryland crossed his arms over his chest. He turned his head slightly to the side and noticed William for the first time and also what he was doing to the vampires who tried to grab him. "William I know that you're Super Mommy all hyped up on hormones now but I would appreciate it if you kept your hands to yourself."

William raised an eyebrow and shrugged. "Maybe I would if you would just answer my goddamn questions for once," he stated simply.

Mike remained silent, letting William do all the work. He didn't want to interfere.

William's eyes widened again and his facial features looked more serious. "How the fuck did that happen and why can't I remember any of it?" he hissed.

Mike swallowed with difficulty. So I was right. Matt really is William's son. Does he know?

"Well I fucked you and it resulted in a baby. It wasn't planned," Ryland paused. "I was testing something on you."

William stared at Ryland in disbelief. "Testing?" he hissed, his eyes full of hatred. "What were you testing?"

Mike kept glaring at the vampire. Yeah, well I'm gonna test something on you, Blackinton. I'll fucking rip you apart.

"Memory drugs." Ryland took a step back. "I was testing on you before I knew you were pregnant and decided it would be a good chance to see if they really worked. They do. Bye bye now." He went back down the hallway. "Nice of you to visit."

William couldn't move. He wanted to chase after Ryland and make him explain, but his body was in shock; he couldn't move.

Mike slowly made his way to William. He knew that if he had tried to attack Ryland, the other vampires would have been merciless. He slid his fingers between the boy's. "I'm sorry," he whispered, as if it was the only thing to say.
