Not according to plan

"I'm sure I can do that one handed," Ryland smirked.

Aliceabella nodded. "Alright then." She glanced around the room.

Ryland slighed and sunk down in his chair a little, closing his eyes. It had been a long day.

Aliceabella stood up. "Why don't you sleep?" She indicated to the bed. "You need to rest." She walked into the bathroom to check on the t-shirt she had cleaned earlier.

"I'm just fine," Ryland said tiredly.

Aliceabella rolled her eyes and walked back into the bedroom, grabbing the arm that was broken and tugging Ryland to his feet. "Sleep." She told him gently.

Ryland frowned but moved so she wouldn't pull on his arm.

Aliceabella smiled and walked over to his closet, putting the clean shirt away.

Ryland muttered, "Only because my arm is broken..."

Aliceabella smiled. "Sure Ryland, either way." She closed the closet doors and curled up in the chair. "Sleep." She repeated, resting her head against the arm of the chair.

Ryland laid down and arranged his injured arm carefully.

Aliceabella watched him calmly, taking her shoes off and tucking her legs beneath her.

Satisfied with his position, Ryland closed his eyes.

Aliceabella began tracing patterens on the arm of the chair, smiling to herself.

Ryland tried to relax and clear his mind of his anger. He decided it was a good time to sort through new information he'd discovered.

Aliceabella rubbed her eye slowly, yawning slightly.

Ryland's breathing slowed a little as he relaxed.

Aliceabella bit at a hangnail softly, wincing as it bled.

Ryland drifted into a state of barely being conscious.

Aliceabella nibbled at the skin on her thumb, eyes drifting towards Ryland every now and again.

Ryland jolted awake immediately and got up to go to the door, arm hanging limply.

"A new protector already?" Ryland frowned. "They never worked this fast before."
