Simple And Clean

Ryland stood and stared at the flustered vampire, "I'm sorry my lord. We've been a little busy today and... come back to the examining room with me, sir."

Aliceabella rubbed at the scratches on her arm slowly, resting her head against Ryland's chest.

Ryland followed the vampire back and laid Aliceabella down on the medical table.

Aliceabella kissed Ryland on the jaw. "Thank you." She mumbled.

Ryland grunted and sat down on a chair next to the examining table as the doctor walked in.

Aliceabella looked over at him. "You need to get that cut looked at." She reminded him.

"What cut?" The doctor looked at Ryland as he put on his gloves.

Aliceabella looked from the doctor to Ryland. "He got hit." She explained, looking back at the doctor.

"Oh," The doctor turned away from Ryland and rolled his eyes. He had been at the Meagan for a long time and had enough status that he didn't fear Ryland. The vampire leader wouldn't be able to get rid of him. "What happened to you?"

Aliceabella sat up slowly, wincing as pain shot through her stomach.

The doctor raised an eyebrow and tutted at her. "Whatever it was you were doing, don't do it again. We'll have to keep you overnight."
Ryland crossed his arms and grumbled at his childhood doctor's haughty tone.

Aliceabella shrugged then winced. "Getting attacked by a nutjob? Tends to be unavoidable when your me." She fought back giggles at Ryland's expression.

The doctor turned to look at Ryland and shrugged. "He's always been like that. Now tell what this 'nutjob' did to you."

Aliceabella smiled faintly at Ryland before looking down, remebering what had happened. "Scratched me, hit my head against the pavement, kicked me, punched me." She looked down at her hands.

"And where was this one when all that happened?" The doctor nodded towards Ryland as he checked for broken bones.

Aliceabella shook her head. "No idea."

"Ahh," The doctor nodded knowingly. "And the burns?" He noticed them for the first time.

Aliceabella bit her lip. "Um....I'm special?"

The doctor chuckled. "Any breathing problems? What hurts when you move?"

"No breathing problems." Aliceabella moved slightly then winced. "My stomach, my arms, my back, my legs, my head." She frowned. "Near enough everywhere basically."

"Right..." The doctor sighed. "Don't move. I'll have someone carry you to the infirmary, and be down to check on you soon. Try to stay out of trouble in the future, although from the looks of you I'd say that would be hard."

Aliceabella blushed and nodded slowly. "Thanks." She mumbled, flexing her hands.

"Do you have any allergies?" The doctor moved to the door.

"None that I know of." Aliceabella looked over at Ryland, slightly scared by the thought of having to stay on her own with vampires she'd never met before.

The doctor nodded again and turned to leave the room. "Don't leave, Ryland you're next," He warned on his way out the room.
