Don't break my heart...

Aliceabella cradeled Vlad to her chest and pushed open the door of The Meagan, humming softly to the baby in her arms. She tried not to notice the looks she recivied as she walked.

Wren raised an eyebrow at Aliceabella. "He didn't come, did he?" she called, sauntering over to her.

Aliceabella shrugged. "I didn't necissarly expect him too, I just wanted him to know." She increased her pace slightly.

Wren frowned. "Ah so you're with hild number two now, eh?"

Aliceabella blushed. "I've been pregnant eight times, only got this one here though. I miscariaged the others." She held Vlad up a little.

Wren's eyes widened. "Geez, use a comdom." she muttered.

Aliceabella frowned. "A what?"

Wren's eyes widened even more. "A condom. Used to stop you getting pregnant."

Aliceabella bit her lip. "Never heard of one." She addmitted, trying to hold Vlad while removing her keys.

Wren took the boy quickly. "You're hopeless." she muttered. "Still a child yourself."

Aliceabella opened the door and stepped inside, holding it open for Wren. "I can't help the world I was born into."

Wren followed, making sure Vlad's neck was supported. "Neither can I but at least I haven't been pregnant 8 times."

Aliceabella sighed. "Have you heard of the word rape?" She shut the door and gently took Vlad from Wren.

Wren sighed as well. "Okay, I get it, I'm sorry."

Aliceabella looked around the room and sank down onto the bed, "Sorry, I should not have lost my temper with you madame." The manners she had always been forced to use were suddenly being used again.

Wren raised an eyebrow. "Quit the manners, girlie. Enforce them in your son, not me." a smirk tugged at her lips. "You know for a spindler, you're okay."

Aliceabella smiled softly. "Thank you ma-Wren." She stood and looked down at Vlad. "I think I'll take him to the nursery for a bit, I need to...Um...Drink?"

Wren nodded. "Want me to go with you? I'm a bit peckish meself."

Aliceabella nodded and then glanced down at herself. "I need to change though." Gently she placed Vlad on the bed and grabbed her bag, heading into the bathroom to change.

Vlad waved his hands up at Wren, eye's wide.

Wren chuckled and sat beside the little boy, setting him on her lap to keep him safe. "Hello, little one."

Vlad frowned at Wren. "Hore?" He mumbled, trying to repeat one of the words he'd heard while living with Damian.

Wren's eyes widened. "No." she told him sternly. "You don't say that. Understand? Bad word."

Aliceabella steped out of the bathroom. "What did he say?" She asked, tugging a comb through her hair.

Wren smiled weakly. "Welllllll...he tried to say...'Whore'." she whispered the word, trying not to let Vlad hear it.

Aliceabella's eyes widened. "Well, that shows how good a father Damian was." She moved forwards. "Letting him hear a word like that."
