Wren frowned at Ryland's words, before glancing back at the girl, smiling again. "As have I." she murmured. "I'm sorry, I failed to catch your name."

Wren nodded, still smiling. "I'm Wren, as you may have guessed." she replied politely. "Do you want to train in anything in particular?" she asked calmly.

Ryland folded up his paper and put it away. He wanted to see how Haylie felt about Wren.

Wren's eyebrows rose. "Then we'll start with that." she replied calmly, taking a sip of her drink after delicately removing the plastic-like lemon first. "But we should eat first." she added, smiling at the girl.

Wren rolled her eyes. "Speak, girl. Is there anything else you want to know about?" she asked. "I've lived through the time when girls were seen and not heard and I didn't like it. Talk." she smirked cheekily at her.

"I just want to learn now to be a normal vampire," She said quickly. "I want to fit in."

Wren nodded. "Understandable." she agreed. "How about we aim for someone who can hold their own instead? Normal is boring, I find."

Wren grinned wickedly, though it was more with Haylie than at her. "Whenever you want. We'll head out tomorow evening, shall we say?" she suggested, taking a sip of her drink again. "We'll start with the basics."

Wren smiled wider. "You know, I find I teach better if my pupils actually talk to me." she teased. "You seem decent and I've hardly met you properly." she laughed lightly. "Relax!"

Wren grinned. "Friends?" she asked. "It's been a while since I've had a hunting-partner - save for you, my lord." she added quickly, glancing back to Ryland.

Wren's eyebrows rose. "I died when I was sixteen!" she murmured. "Ah well." she added, shrugging. "That was in...1639, by the way." she adde,d frowning as she worked out the year.
