Ryland took a quick look around the room to make sure it seemed like everything was as he left it. He wasn't expecting that much would be wrong but it was always best to make sure.

"Sloth milk," Ryland scratched his head and sat down. He supposed it could have been something even more bizarre.

Victoria shrugged as she began to prepare, setting up a pentagram on the floor.

Ryland listened carefully for appoaching footsteps as he watched, making a mental note to ask where the sloth milk was found.

Victoria turned to the right page in her book, biting her lip.

Uncertain footsteps started somewhere near the beginning of the corridor but Ryland didn't pay much attention to them until they moved closer.

Victoria's hand shook as she lay the curl of hair in the centre of the pentacle.

Ryland was about to close the door when he noticed another vampire approaching with something in his hands.

Victoria started up a fire in the centre of the pentagram, pushing her hair out her eyes.

Ryland nodded his thanks stiffly and took the sloth's milk. Closing the door he studied it briefly.

Victoria muttered to herself and began to pour the sloth milk over the fire. The flames turned green.
