Angel's wings twitched and suddenly her feet were by Ryland's head. "Oops." She giggled.

Ryland looked up, "Do you know when you learned to fly?" They had some time to wait before the food was ready.

Angel frowned slightly, twisting a curl around her finger. "Only I'm not as good as Daddy."

Ryland smiled at her, absentmindedly hoping she liked the food. He had to keep her healthy and relatively happy for his plans to work.

Angel scratched her head. "Daddy kissed me goodnight and went out to hunt. I cuddled with Papa until I feeled sleepy."

The door opened and a vampire appeared with a covered plate. Ryland nodded his thanks and motioned that the kitchen worker follow them to where Angel would take her meal.
