No reason

Ryland glanced up but didn't seem concerned at all as he turned the page again.

Aliceabella whimpered as she fell to the floor, glancing up at Ryland desperatly.

Damian kicked Aliceabella in the face and then turned to look at Ryland. "Who helped deliever the baby?" He asked him calmly.

"I did," Ryland flipped again only to be met with the classifieds.

Aliceabella placed her hand over her now broken nose and glared at Ryland. Bastard She told him mentally, making sure Damian couldn't hear.If your going to just sit there, you could at least fake an interest

Damian nodded at Ryland. "When was the baby born?"

"Not too long ago. The exact time has been recorded and is probably included in the medical records they've started for him in the nursery." Ryland replied.

Aliceabella sighed and shifted into a sitting postion. Sorry for the bastard comment She told Ryland, closing her eyes as pain rocketed through her.

Damian nodded at Ryland before glancing down at Aliceabella. "I'll come back for this pitiful creature in a moment." With that he turned and went to check the dates in the nursery.

Ryland raised his eyebrows at Aliceabella and put his newspaper down.

Once she was sure Damian was out of earshot she smiled weakly at Ryland. "Welcome to what I've had to go through for my entire life." She rubbed her nose gently, wincing in pain.

Damian moved through the corridor slowly, using this time to think about what he was going to do to Aliceabella. He'd make her pay for leaving him- that much was for sure. He did however want to know why Aliceabella had been in a room with a vampire when he'd found her- he himself had made sure she was terrified of vampires.

"I did whatever I wanted to William," Ryland shrugged.

Aliceabella sighed and placed a hand on the floor. "Suppose, but how old was William when he became your mate?"

Damian chuckled as he remembered the look in Aliceabella's eyes when he had hit her- she had thought that Ryland vampire was going to save her. Damian chuckled again and shook his head, that girl would never learn.

"He was a child, but I wasn't much older," Ryland shrugged, looking up as Damien reentered.

Aliceabella inhaled sharply as Damian walked into the room, attempting to crawl backwards across the floor.

Damian smirked at Aliceabella's behaviour and then looked at Ryland. "Why was she with you anyway? I know for a fact she's teffified of vampires."

Ryland shrugged. "I did almost leave her with the avians."

Aliceabella continued moving backwards until her back hit the wall, she glanced from Ryland to Damian and back again.

Damian chuckled. "Only almost? Why the change of heart?"

"A pregnant man told me not to." Ryland grinned.

Aliceabella frowned at Ryland, feeling a little hurt but decided not to get too offended by it. At least if Damian was talking to him he wasn't hitting her.

Damian chuckled darkly and folded his arms. "And why did you listen to said pregnant man?"

"I'd already abused him enough for one day. And he's having seven. That entitles him to some rights I suppose," Ryland chuckled.
