Ryland watched as they finished up and carried her over to the bed.

Aliceabella kept her eyes closed, ignoring the urge to vomit.
Vlad looked up at Ryland then reached towards the necklace again.

"It's that necklace, isn't it?" Ryland looked at Vlad and carried him to his crib, putting the baby and the small bag of treats inside.

Aliceabella curled up in a ball, eyes still closed.
Vlad tired to climb out of the crib, still staring at the necklace in the bathroom.

Ryland grabbed the necklace and hid it from Vlad's sight out of reach of the baby.

Vlad pouted and sunk down in his crib, hugging his bag of treats to him.
Aliceabella groaned and sat up, holding her head.

Ryland scanned the room, working through something in his head. "Was it the necklace?" He asked before putting his plan into action, leaning against the doorframe.

"Yeah," Aliceabella looked over at Ryland, blinking as her vision swam.
Vlad began eating his way through the contents of his bag.

"I'll be right back. Stay here and don't touch that necklace again," Ryland turned from the room.

"Alright..." Aliceabella rubbed her head, closing her eyes again.
Vlad watched Ryland go then attempted to climb from his crib again.

Ryland moved quickly down the hallway, pace increasing steadily until he ran out of the building.

Aliceabella rubbed the side of her head, not noticing as Vlad climbed from the crib and crawled towards the bathroom.

Ryland smiled as he approached the city, making sure to stay off the main paths so no one would stop him.

Aliceabella frowned, noticing how quite it was but assuming Vlad was asleep.
The blond haired infant crawled towards the counter where Aliceabella kept her cosmetics, staring up at the green pendant necklace.

Ryland ran faster when he saw the building he was aiming for.

Vlad pulled himself onto the cabinet, tongue sticking out in concentration.
Aliceabella slowly crawled to the edge of the bed, eyes widened as she saw Vlad was gone.

Aliceabella pushed herself to her feet, groaning as the world span, "Vladdy?"
Vlad grabbed the necklace in his hand and dropped down onto the bathroom floor.

"Vladdy, leave that alone." Aliceabella leant against the bathroom door to keep herself upright.
Vlad gurgled and slipped the necklace on, eyes going bright blue.

Aliceabella groaned and slid to the floor, trying to take her son into her arms.
Vlad hissed wildly, glaring at his mother.

Aliceabella bit her lip, not knowing what to do.
Vlad gurlged happily, his eyes slipping several shades lighter again.

"Give that to me Vlad..." Aliceabella reached towards the necklace.
Vlad recoiled, baring his small fangs at his mother.

"Vladislaus." Aliceabella bit her lip and scooped the baby up, ignoring the waves of pain that shot through her.
Vlad began shrieking, flailing madly.

The pendant on the necklace glowed, causing Aliceabella to whimper in pain and place Vlad on the bathroom floor again.
Vlad hugged the necklace to himself, eyes so bright they were nearly white.

Aliceabella took a deep breath and tore the necklace off Vlad, leaping to her feet and shoving it in a bag. Her vision spun and she sank to her knees, having moved too fast.

Aliceabella stood up slowly, vision swimming again. She fell against the wall, trying to stay upright. Vlad watched his mother with concearn.
